Anna's Chop for Charity
Story
Hi, I'm Anna. I have very, very, very long hair that I'm chopping for charity on 14 December 2014. Vote for your favourite hairstyle by making a donation to that charity below. The highest donation wins!
Join me, let our hair down and vote for a cause.
Donations tallied daily until 14th Dec 2014.
Many people I care about have battled cancer over recent years. I have lost some people very close to me.
Instead of my hair getting stuck in the drain, I'm going to donate my ponytail to Pantene Beautiful Lengths, who will turn it into a wig for women with cancer.
To make it a little interesting I have chosen three possible styles, each linked to a deserving charity. I am letting YOU - my friends decide which hairstyle by donating to the associated charity.
My locks will be chopped by my friend Yen from TONIC ONE SIX
Thank you for taking the time to vote. We greatly appreciate your support! Please forward on to anyone & everyone - family and friends; the more the merrier. We need as many votes as possible!!
In memory of my auntie, Ngoc Diep.
Every dollar makes a difference and your donation will help the McGrath Foundation place McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities right across Australia, and to increase breast awareness in young Australian women. To date, we have placed 87 McGrath Breast Care Nurses across Australia, who together have helped support over 21,000 families experiencing breast cancer.
100% of all donations will be donated to the McGrath Foundation and you will automatically receive a tax-deductible via email.
As they say at the McGrath Foundation, together, we can make a difference!
Activity
McGrath Foundation
The McGrath Foundation raises money to fund McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities right across Australia. Our highly qualified nurses help individuals and their families experiencing breast cancer by providing physical, psychological and emotional support, for free.
From the time of diagnosis and throughout treatment, McGrath Breast Care Nurses are there to help. While over 110,000 families have been supported since 2005, more nurses are needed to meet the growing rate of breast cancer diagnosis in Australia.
With your help, no one misses out on care. Visit www.mcgrathfoundation.com.au to find out more.
