On the 12th July I will be attempting to kitesurf from QLD to PNG across the Torres Strait to raise money for the MaGrath foundation. 

As a Kitesurfing Tour operator myself, this will be the biggest tour I've ever embarked on, but the cause is close to my heart as my best friend Helen McCumisky is battling breast cancer herself. The Torres Crossing Team of 10, hope to raise $100K for the foundation so they can continue to help ladies with breast cancer - and especially educate under 40yo women to be aware of the 1st signs of cancer.

I will be personally funding my tour and also donating a $2,000 Cocos Islands kite holiday from Zephyr kite Tours to be auctioned off to raise more funds for  our expedition cause. 

With only a week to get my head around it, im pretty scared, excited  and stoked to be able to help young avoid the pain & difficulties my best friend is facing right now.
 

Please wish me luck and my dearest MC best friend a fast recovery so she can join me kitesurfing on the next tour.
