Holly's Head Shave
Story
Hello everyone, As I started my chemotherapy on Thursday 2nd October I decided to shave my head and try to raise some money for the McGrath Foundation and also to share my story to help raise some awareness in young women in the importance in self checking. At 32, I never expected to find a lump or that the lump I found would be canerous, but it was. I urge everyone to start regularly self checking and become familiar with the lumps and bumps of your breasts. If you are the slightest bit concerned with anything, don't feel like it would be silly to go to the doctor. GO AND GET IT CHECKED!!! P.S. If you are not sure what to look for in a self check just ask your doctor in your next visit or ask at women's health clinics.

Every dollar makes a difference and your donation will help the McGrath Foundation place McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities right across Australia, and to increase breast awareness in young Australian women. To date, we have placed 87 McGrath Breast Care Nurses across Australia, who together have helped support over 21,000 families experiencing breast cancer.
100% of all donations will be donated to the McGrath Foundation and you will automatically receive a tax-deductible via email.
As they say at the McGrath Foundation, together, we can make a difference!
Activity
McGrath Foundation
The McGrath Foundation raises money to fund McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities right across Australia. Our highly qualified nurses help individuals and their families experiencing breast cancer by providing physical, psychological and emotional support, for free.
From the time of diagnosis and throughout treatment, McGrath Breast Care Nurses are there to help. While over 110,000 families have been supported since 2005, more nurses are needed to meet the growing rate of breast cancer diagnosis in Australia.
With your help, no one misses out on care. Visit www.mcgrathfoundation.com.au to find out more.
